Here's Why Fans Think Kylie Jenner Named Her Baby Stormi

Kylie Jenner named her daughter Stormi Webster — but why!?!? Clearly this question is plaguing the internet, where fans are pulling out their hair over this ~great~ mystery of our time.

The latest theory is related to something called the Butterfly Effect — which is the idea that the wind movement created by the flapping of a butterflies wings can eventually grow and grow until it's a hurricane. Yes, Ashton Kutcher starred in a movie about it, and yes, it was GREAT.

Anyway, here's the internet is back on its bullshit, doing what it does best — spreading all sorts of baseless rumors about celebrities:

I mean, it's not the *most* far-fetched thing in the world, and here is the evidence: 1. Kris Jenner shared an image of Kylie's Posie K. lip kit the day after Stormi was born, and some believe that "Posie" is short for Mariposa, which is butterfly in Spanish. Also, 2. Travis' biggest hit is called "Butterfly Effect." Did you just get the shivers!? I didn't!

The information to the contrary?

Well, Kylie is apparently *terrified* of butterflies. Dude, I don't know.

Us Weeklydug up some footage from Kylie's Life of Kylie reality show and in it, the youngest Jenner is seen freaking out around some of the winged beasts.

“I’m scared if one lands on me,” she says in a scene with her friends Jordyn Woodsand Victoria Villarroel during a trip to the butterfly exhibit at the London Zoo.

“Butterflies are just a part of the secrets of Kylie,” she says later in a confessional. “It’s kind of just ironic because I’m terrified, terrified of butterflies. All butterflies. This is how I think of them, cut the wings off and if you just look at their bodies, they’re not that pretty. It’s literally a bug.”
