Kendall Jenner Puts a City Twist on Clueless Style

Kendall Jenner went out to dinner in New York last night with her crew which included fellow models Hailey Baldwin and Luka Sabbat. She swapped out the head-to-toe adidas originals by Daniëlle Cathari look she had worn earlier in the day for a more polished SoCal ensemble. Dressed in an Alexa Chung designed plaid minidress and swaddled in fur stoles, the supermodel seemed to be channeling the girly style of cult ‘90s movie Clueless.

Jenner is a fashion chameleon and yesterday’s looks only underscored her transformative fashion skills. Much like Cher Horowitz, the protagonist in the film played by Alicia Silverstone, Jenner always has an outfit ready for any occasion. The glen plaid dress was a slick alternative to the tailored suiting versions sported this fall by Blake Lively and Jennifer Lawrence, while the contrasting fur stoles provided a luxe edge. Rounding out the look were hunter green tights, elegant sling backs, and Prada’s nylon mini bag, a elevated alternative to the omnipresent fanny pack.
