Yet Ella Thomas proved she is climbing the ladder from the rungs of UK reality TV to rubbing shoulders with the crème de la crème of global reality TV success as she partied with the Jenners on Wednesday.
The Scottish stunner, 23, who starred on the 10th season of the show, has been living it up in Los Angeles and met a duo of superstars during her stay.
Taking to Instagram, she shared a duo of videos showing her cosying up Kylie, 26, before nabbing some camera time with matriarch Kris, 68.
Ella was sure to look stunning for her night with the stars, as she preened and posed in a racy black dress with laser cut-outs, which complemented Kris' trademark black look while Kylie went braless beneath a sizzling halterneck ensemble.
She was using her Stateside time wisely, as she had a taste of the clean-living LA lifestyle with a Pilates class and a trip to Erewhon, to try the legendary 'Hailey Bieber Strawberry Skin Smoothie' - ringing in at a whopping $20 (£15.60).
Following her day of health, she then enjoyed her night with the famous family - who seemed to be loving life with the Love Island stars amid kisses and cuddles.
Ella's trip comes after it was revealed the star and her Love Island boyfriend Tyrique Hyde have split after six months together, MailOnline can reveal.
Last month, Ella unfollowed footballer Tyrique, 24, on Instagram, while he did the same – with the exes removing all trace of each other from the platform.
It comes just 11 days after the pair celebrated Valentine's Day together and Tyrique treated Ella to a Louis Vuitton bag worth £1,200 as well as a romantic meal and hotel stay, where he decorated the room with love heart shaped balloons.
Ella and Tyrique met in a nightclub before they starred on Love Island together last summer but quickly established feelings for each other in the villa.
MailOnline reported in November that their romance was 'hanging by a thread' and they had even split in secret before giving their relationship one last shot.
A source told MailOnline: 'Ella and Tyrique have decided it's time to go their separate ways. They have such love for each other, but they often struggle to get along and as viewers saw in the villa, they're always arguing.
'This time, things have ended badly… and they have both removed all recent photographs of each other from their respective Instagram profiles, as well as all Snapchat content.
'They have unfollowed each other as well… it certainly feels like this breakup is final.'
Ella and Tyrique came third during the latest summer series of Love Island, losing out on the top two positions to runners-up Whitney Adebayo and Lochan Nowacki and winners Jess Harding and Sammy Root.
Their split means Whitney and Lochan are the only couple still together from the top three after Jess and Sammy ended their romance shortly after scooping the £50,000 cash prize.
During their time on the show, Ella and Tyrique often squabbled but their feelings for each other prevailed.
Their romance was rocked once more during the Casa Amor loyalty test when Ella chose to recouple with Ouzy See, which shattered Ty's pride.
In November, MailOnline revealed troubles in the couple's relationship caused them to pull out of attending ITV's annual Palooza at the last minute but sources at the time said they were still trying to get their romance back on track.
Ella has seen success since finding fame on the show, with her fanbase hitting a million followers.
She also landed a lucrative ambassador deal with PrettyLittleThing, fronting her own collections and shooting in Los Angeles for the brand.
