We all need a distraction from this Bryan Colangelo mess, so it's nice to see Ben Simmons keeping busy with a new lady friend.
Page Six reported earlier in the week that Simmons has been dating Kendall Jenner "for a few weeks." Now, the pair was spotted together in Los Angeles.
Ben had previously posted that he was in L.A. to his Instagram story and that he may have been visiting the Jimmy Kimmel Live! — you can catch a quick glimpse of that below.
Jenner and Simmons reportedly had dinner with fellow NBA star Devin Booker before hitting the clubs.
According to TMZ:
After a dinner date at The Nice Guy, the two rolled over to Hyde Nightclub where they partied together until around 2:10 AM ... and then ultimately ended up at the Waldorf Astoria.
That's where the TMZ cameras caught them walking into the building. TMZ writes that "you can probably guess how the rest of the night went from there."
Knowing Ben, they probably played video games all night.
As for Ben's former lady friend, popstar Tinashe, she was spotted chatting with fellow Rookie of the Year candidate Donovan Mitchell. Small world.

TMZ Sports on the dinner date:
Joel Embiid is back at it at his local Philly playground.
This time, he’s nailing what we could call a four-point shot from beyond a fence at a park on 10th and Lombard.
Watch as Embiid shoots over the only entity that is taller than him, a 10 (?)-foot fence and makes the first. He was definitely fouled on the second, so we’ll give him a pass on that. Then he runs off in a Stephen Curry-esque fashion.
Joel from WAYYY beyond the arc.

Good to see Joel putting in three-point work in the offseason, even if the only thing that can defend him is a fence.
The Sixers' main social media account has broken its silence … but it’s not about the story everyone wants to hear.
After 51 hours of radio silence following the release of The Ringer’s bombshell article about Sixers president of basketball operations Bryan Colangelo, the team's social media account finally posted to acknowledge Brett Brown’s three-year contract extension. The news on Brown actually was first reported on Twitter (via ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski) right before The Ringer’s article came out.
As the team broke its Twitter silence, Sixers fans responded with tons of comments and they’re not happy, which has nothing to do with the news of Brown’s extension. It’s just not the news they wanted to hear the Sixers' account post about. They want information regarding Colangelo.
Here’s a look at some of their responses, showing the current climate of the fan base.
Cool diversion. This isn't going away tho. Address BC.

Who is leading the “independent” investigation? That’s the only thing that matters right now.

Old news. We knew this a day or two ago. ADDRESS THE IMPORTANT STUFF!! You think we don't know what's going on?

The fans want answers and they are absolutely not using burner accounts to let the organization know ... or are they?
