Kylie Jenner Teases Silver Bob on Instagram

Not even a day after teasing her upcoming Kylie Cosmetics holiday makeup collection on Instagram looking like a full-blown snow bunny bombshell with waist-length, buttery blonde waves, Kylie Jenner took to her Instagram Stories to tease her latest hair look — or at least an unstyled version of it.

In a video clip labeled 10:21 pm, Jenner is seen with what appears to be a freshly cut bob that hits just past her jawline. A stylist's hands — I'm thinking they belong to Kardashian-Jenner go-to Chris Appleton, since he's been tagged in Jenner's Instagram Stories while working on her hair in this exact spot before — take a flat iron to strands, which appear to be somewhat damp. (It's been reported elsewhere that another family favorite, Andrew Fitzsimons, was behind the change, but his reps tell Allure it wasn't.)

But it's not just the cut that's different. Jenner's hair appears to be a much cooler-toned shade than it has been since Appleton first took her blonde for her 21st birthday in August. Typically a light, golden blonde, this new color appears to be nearly silver.

It definitely comes as a surprise to anyone who follows Jenner on Instagram, considering on Tuesday — in addition to her holiday collection teaser — she posted a throwback photo of herself in her natural brunette shade with the caption, "almost ready for my dark hair." Perhaps she had a change of heart after reading some of the comments on the photo, though. "No dark hair," one fan demanded. Another wrote, "Stay blonde queen you look so good blonde 😍😍"

It definitely seems like she took the (unsolicited) advice of her fans to stay blonde, because the video implies that she's gone a shade of platinum. But as of press time, Jenner hasn't shared any additional photos of the new look, so there's really no knowing what the final color will look like — at least not until she posts again.
