Kylie Jenner's trust pays $3.25 million for Madison Club land near Kris Jenner's desert pad - The Desert Sun

The Coachella Valley just notched another Kardashian-Jenner family real estate deal.

A trust linked to Kylie Jenner, the 21-year-old socialite launched to fame by the television series Keeping Up with the Kardashians, plunked down $3.25 million on an undeveloped pad of land overlooking a La Quinta fairway and the Santa Rosa Mountains in February, property records show.

The sale is the second time the Kardashian-Jenner family has picked up property in the desert in the past year. A trust linked to the family's matriarch, Kris Jenner, purchased a palatial seven-bedroom mansion down the street from the new purchase in August for $12 million, ranking it as the most expensive single-family home to trade in the Coachella Valley since the iconic Bob Hope house sold for $13 million in November 2016.

The transactions place the celebrity family in Madison Club, a secluded golf course community off of Avenue 52 in La Quinta favored by wealthy homeowners like entertainment executive Irving Azoff.

The sale was first reported by the Los Angeles Times.

The two Madison Club properties appear to have connections to the same developer and real estate agent.

The mansion looks to be a spec home by developer Gala Asher and shares design features; like a sleek rectangular pool, long outdoor fireplaces and glowing tree sculptures; with the layout of another estate Asher developed. The home was listed by Ginger Glass with Coldwell Banker Global Luxury, who bought the property with Asher in 2015, according to property records.

Similarly, Asher and Glass are the previous owners of the nearly one-acre vacant plot down the street that sold to a Kylie Kardashian-linked trust in February. A property listing says the land sale includes floor plans for a "15,000 SF single story contemporary home by a known Beverly Hills developer."

The Madison Club properties have something else in common: Both were purchased by trusts with the same trustee, Lester Knispel, a Kardashian-Jenner family business manager.

The one-acre property linked to Kylie Jenner was purchased by the Candice Joe Trust. Jenner previously sold a Calabasas home to the trust, whose trustee is Knispel.

Since the August sale, the Kardashian-Jenner family has been spotted in the desert at least twice.

On Thanksgiving, Kendall Jenner posted clips and photos of the growing family at Madison Club, warming up around a firepit, sharing a Turkey Day feast and riding bicycles around the country club.

And the family was back in the desert again in February, when Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian, as well as their friend Malika Haqq, went on an "overnight girls trip" to Palm Springs, according to a source quoted in Us Weekly.
