Almost everyone has had a questionable haircut as a child — even celebrities like Kendall Jenner. Case in point: On Saturday afternoon, the supermodel shared an adorable throwback photo from when she young on Instagram, and in it, she has bangs that appear as if she cut into them herself. For instance, on either side, the bangs are completely blunt, but in the middle, her hair is cut much shorter, almost like baby bangs. Remember when those were trending circa 2018?
The reality star took this opportunity to call out her mom, Kris Jenner, for the uneven cut: "Why were my bangs like this mom???" reads the caption above the photo, which also features Kylie and her mom, as well as Caitlyn Jenner.
Of course, there's no way of knowing if Kendall did in fact try cutting into her bangs as a kid, or if Kris was behind the asymmetrical style. Either way, it's worth pointing out that Kenny still looks absolutely precious — as does Kylie, who was just a wee little tyke at the time. Both are wearing matching Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz outfits, along with matching pigtails. The family was clearly at a Halloween event when the photo was taken.
Over the years, Jenner experimented with faux bangs a couple of times — then, last year, she went for the real thing, courtesy of her longtime hairstylist Jen Atkin. Since then, though, she's let them grow out, so it's possible they ended up being too high maintenance for the model.
As for her uneven bangs from way back when, well, we'll just have to wait and see if Kris clears things up. In the meantime, here's hoping Kendall decides to experiment with some more fun fringe in the future.
