The Met gala red carpet is one of the most photographed and discussed events of the year. But as soon as those celebs step into the actual dinner, there’s very little photography allowed, giving the whole affair an air of mystery. Yes, the guests have dinner, see the exhibit, but wouldn’t we all like to be a fly on the wall to observe Erykah Badu, Lil Uzi Vert, and Pete Davidson at the same table together? Well, thanks to Kendall Jenner and her camera, we can get a little glimpse into the actual halls of the Met gala.
The model, who wore a stunning sheer, crystal Givenchy dress that paid homage to Audrey Hepburn, took her camera with her inside the party for the second time (the first was in 2018). Of course she had to snap her good friend Gigi Hadid in her white Prada dress, but she also captured Justin Bieber’s surprise performance on the Temple of Dendur, Timothée Chalamet with Kid Cudi, and the aforementioned trio of Badu, Vert, and Davidson (all of whom wore Thom Browne). Someone else even stepped in to take a photo of Jenner with her (totally covered) sister Kim Kardashian. Seems like a good time! See the rest of the images below.
