Kylie Jenner hints in a new trailer for “The Kardashians” that she struggled with postpartum depression after welcoming her son.
The reality star speaks to her sister Kendall Jenner in the Hulu teaser released Monday, explaining that she knew she “should be happy” — but still wasn’t feeling it.
“I just had this new baby, but I cried nonstop for, like, three weeks,” Kylie, 25, says.
The makeup mogul, who gave birth to her baby boy in February, shares later in the trailer that she was “really mad at [her] sister,” although she did not specify which one.
Kendall, for her part, seems to be upset with Kylie, complaining that her younger sibling “canceled last minute” on a commitment.
“She always seems to get out of things,” Kendall says in a confessional of Kylie’s absence, explaining that she is the one who has “to take over.”
Kylie has had a “hard” postpartum journey, sharing her ups and downs in a March Instagram Story video.
The “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” alum explained that she struggled “mentally, physically [and] spiritually” after welcoming baby No. 2, whose name she has yet to reveal.
“For other moms going through it right now … it hasn’t been easy for me either,” she said at the time. “I just keep reminding myself I made a whole human, a beautiful healthy boy.
“We have to stop putting pressure on ourselves,” Kylie, who is also the mother of 4-year-old daughter Stormi, continued.
By May, the Kylie Skin creator wrote via TikTok that her postpartum hormones were “start[ing] to level out.”
She said in the video, “I’m getting my personality back, though. Like, I’m feeling like myself again. I really was not myself.”
Season 2 of “The Kardashians” premieres Sept. 22 on Hulu.
