Kris Jenner was in tears telling her family about her health issues on Thursday’s episode of “The Kardashians.”
The 68-year-old momager let daughters Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian and Kendall Jenner know on their trip to Aspen that she has to get a serious procedure done.
“I went to the doctor and I had my scan. They found a cyst and a little tumor on my ovary,” Kris said at the table with her boyfriend Corey Gamble by her side.
“Dr. A said I have to have my ovaries taken out,” she added. “I’m just really emotional about it because they came in handy with you guys.”
Kris, who has six children from her marriages to Robert Kardashian and Caitlyn Jenner (then Bruce Jenner), explained in a confession how she feels about getting her ovaries removed.
“I’m emotional about it because that’s where all my kids were conceived and that’s where they were grown. In my tummy,” she said. “It’s a very sacred place to me.”
The group called Kourtney Kardashian, who was home with her four kids, to inform her about her mom’s health.
“I’m getting surgery because I have a tumor on my ovaries, so they’re gonna remove them,” Kris shared to her oldest daughter.
“The emotional part for me is just having that gone,” she told the group.
Kim, 43, sympathized with Kris in a confessional.
“To have a surgery and remove your ovaries is a really big deal. I feel sad for her,” the SKIMS founder said. “I couldn’t imagine being in that situation and how you would feel really scared to be going through that.”
Kris told her daughters that she’s “not nervous to be put to sleep. I’m not nervous with Dr. A — she’s the best doctor in the world. But then you go to do it, and it’s so real.”
Kourtney, 45, said she understood her mom’s emotions because she “would feel the same way” if she was in that predicament.
“It’s like your womanly power. It doesn’t mean it’s taking away who she is or what she’s experienced, but I would feel this sentimental feeling of what it’s created,” Kourtney said.
While trying to fight back tears, Kris told her family, “It’s also a thing about getting older and it’s a sign of we’re done with this part of your life. It’s a whole chapter that’s just closed.”
Kendall, 28, had a mature stance on the situation.
“I get her emotion behind it. I get that it’s sad because they have brought all her kids into the world, which is totally fair,” the second-youngest KarJenner sister said in a confessional.
“But at the same time, what are we using those for anymore? If they’re potentially hurting you, let’s get them out of there,” she added.
After Kris and Kim hugged, the girls joked that they should have a “farewell ovaries party” for their mom.
“I’m gonna be fine. I have you guys,” Kris told her kids.
Gamble, 43, cheered Kris up by giving her a new black winter coat.
That put a smile on Kris’ face as the family ended their vacation on a happy note.
The moment that Kris tells her loved ones about her tumor was teased in May when Hulu dropped the trailer for “The Kardashians” Season 5.
Kris’ medical journey has been documented on the show in recent seasons, with the matriarch undergoing a hip replacement in 2022.
Her mom, MJ Campbell, 89, is a breast cancer survivor.
Back in 2018, Kris made a post on Instagram where she implored fans to get mammograms to check for breast cancer.
“My mom MJ is a breast cancer survivor and so are dozens of my friends,” she said. “Do this in honor of your loved ones I know all of us have someone in our lives who have dealt with cancer. Love you guys!!!”
