When Caitlyn Jenner was tried for manslaughter after a car accident

Caitlyn was involved in a car accident in February 2015 which left one person dead and 7 injured, and was later cleared of manslaughter charges despite a spokesperson from the sheriff's department saying that Caitlyn's driving had been "unsafe for the prevailing road conditions", which led to her SUV rear-ending a Lexus and pushing the car into incoming traffic, leading to the death of its driver, 69-year-old Kim Howe.

At the time, Caitlyn issued a statement which read,"My heartfelt and deepest sympathies go out to the family and loved ones, and to all of those who were involved or injured in this terrible accident. It is a devastating tragedy and I cannot pretend to imagine what this family is going through at this time. I am praying for them. I will continue to cooperate in every way possible."
