Everything about Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s Christmas party was over-the-top, including the couple hiring snow machines to turn their Los Angeles-area back yard into a mini, snow-packed ski resort and the sight of Kendall Jenner sledding down a manufactured bunny hill in a neon-green, full-length $5,000 designer gown.

Yes, that’s how Christmas Eve rolls when you are uber-wealthy and uber-extravagant like reality TV star Kim Kardashian and her rapper husband Kanye West.

An Instagram story video, posted Tuesday by Kardashian, showed her taking daughter North sledding down a snow-covered hill behind their house in Calabasas. The snow was left over from the party the night before. Even though it’s usually in the mid-60s in Southern California in late December, the Kardashian-West family wanted a White Christmas theme for their annual holiday bash, according to Glamour. 

But that led to some interesting visuals on Christmas Eve, including supermodel Kendall Jenner, falling head-first while riding a sled down the hill and while wearing the off-the-shoulder column gown from Christian Siriano’s spring 2019 collection. Page Six captured an Instagram story video of Jenner falling off the sled.

Jenner, 22, decided to join her friends, rapper Tyler, the Creator and Yung Taco, for a ride down the hill. After Jenner’s sled tipped over, throwing her face-first into the snow, she nonetheless laughed it off, and went back for another ride, Page Six reported. Jenner’s big sister Kourtney Kardashian also joined her in sledding, Glamour added.

Jenner showed a more appropriate use of a designer evening gown when she posed, lounging on a white sofa, for a series of photos she shared on Instagram.

Among the other celebrity guests at the Kardashian-West bash were John Legend, who offered up a short performance, as well as Jennifer Lopez, Alex Rodriguez and Paris Hilton, Glamour reported. Of course, the rest of the extended Kardashian family were there as well, including Kylie Jenner, Khloe Kardashian and former patriarch Caitlyn Jenner, accompanied by Caitlyn Jenner’s gal pal, Sophia Hutchins.

In addition to the manufactured snow hill, the party’s Winter Wonderland theme also featured an “igloo” which was decorated like Whoville from Dr. Seuss’s “How the Grinch Stole Christmas,” Glamour added.
