Kylie Jenner's Instagram Stories are basically a one-stop shop for nail-art inspiration. She's constantly changing things up, and the pandemic limiting access to nail salons barely slowed her down. She tried neon orange on her natural nails, And now, the makeup mogul is trying another mismatched manicure — this time of the French variety.
In late August, Kylie and sister Kendall Jenner both got French manicures; the makeup mogul got classic white tips, and the runway model got bright blue, which may have inspired Kylie to try a neon twist on the timeless look. But it seems she couldn't decide what color to go with.
In a new Boomerang posted to her Instagram Stories on Thursday, September 3, Jenner shared that she'd gotten a French manicure with neon-orange tips on her left hand (clearly she loves that shade a lot) and neon-green tips on her right hand. She tagged one of her favorite nail salons, Modern Pamper Salon, and posted the orange and green heart emojis underneath.
A close look shows that the tips are asymmetrical: The ones on the left hand dip lower around the left side of the cuticles, and the ones on the right dip to the right. Although these squared-off nails would qualify as long for most people, they're on the shorter side for Jenner, who usually wears super long — sometimes twice as long as these.
From the looks of it, Jenner isn't quite ready to trade in summery shades for fall manicure hues. But if you are, we have plenty of ideas for gorgeous fall nail colors right here.
