There's no denying that out of all the Kardashian-Jenners, Kylie is the most experimental when it comes to hair. Although we've glimpsed her natural locks on the odd occasion, she mostly favours Rapunzel-length plaits, cascading hair extensions and even the odd '80s pixie cut wig (is that you, Kris Jenner?!)
Her colour changes so often we wouldn't be surprised if she had an in-house colourist, and this year we saw her go blonder and blonder, progressing from subtle sun-kissed highlights to full-on Barbie blonde. When we last checked in on her, she'd been seduced by the peroxide yet again, and was the blondest we'd ever seen her. It looked amazing, obvs, and her sister Kendall obviously thought so too, because she unveiled identical caramel-coloured highlights shortly afterwards.
But what we weren't expecting was for Kylie to venture out of the caramel/blonde/honey spectrum she's been so busy perfecting... and dye her hair red. We're talking a rich red-wine colour from root to tips. Kylie posted two pictures on Instagram, captioning the first one: "what should we name her?" and the second: "ariel who?" (By Ariel, we assume she's referring to Disney's The Little Mermaid, and not her go-to makeup artist, Ariel Tejad!).
Her fans were quick to point out the similarity too, with one commenting: "Ariel could never" and another joking "don’t ever come for little mermaid again" (at least we think they were joking and not just a huge Disney stan...)

The new colour is stunning - we're just surprised the reveal pictures weren't of Kylie dipping her tail in the swimming pool while wearing a shell bra...
