The Kardashian-Jenner family is full of surprises, especially when it comes to familial relationships and friendships. One of the most notable is that between the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star and model, Kendall Jenner and supermodel legend, Gigi Hadid. Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid have been inseparable for quite some time now.
They met through Gigi's sister Bella and became the best of friends. They share a passion for modeling as well as a reality TV history. They were even born in the same year, 1995. It seems about the only thing they do not have in common is that Gigi Hadid just became a mom. This begs the question of if Kendall Jenner will be baby's unofficial godmother or auntie. Given all of these details, it's really not all that shocking that their sisterly bond is actually real, but just how real is it?
According to W Magazine and Grazia, legendary music producer, David Foster, is the connection that these girls share. Yes, that David Foster, the one who held a vital role in the Jenner boys' reality TV show, The Princes of Malibu. As all fans know, Brandon and Brody Jenner are the half brothers of Kendall Jenner. David Foster was briefly married to the Jenner boys' mother and after their divorce, he was briefly married to ex-supermodel Yolanda Hadid, otherwise known as Gigi Hadid's mother. Confused yet?
Ultimately, how Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid fit together is that they are ex-step sisters in a very convoluted type of way through some very complex marriages. While they are not blood-related, it is still very unique and interesting that these two women who are BFFs not only show sisterly love because of their friendship, but also because of their actual familial connections. While they would probably love to be even a little more related, they will take being even just a touch connected.
It is pretty wild that they even have a connection -- what are the chances? Then again, Los Angeles, while a large city, becomes very small and niche when it comes to the inner Hollywood circle. All of the famous names know each other and have plenty of opportunities to get to know each other at parties or just through work. With David Foster also being a semi serial dater, it does make sense in the end.
