Kylie Jenner Adds More Trophy Vintage To Her Growing Collection - British Vogue

Kylie Jenner has certainly been delivering on the vintage front of late, from the rare Comme des Garçons set she wore over the summer to the ’90s Thierry Mugler gown she wore to the CFDA Awards last week. Naturally, the beauty mogul dug into the Mugler archives again for the opening night of the Thierry Mugler: Couturissime exhibition at the Brooklyn Museum on Tuesday night.

For the occasion, Jenner opted for a black gown from Mugler’s autumn/winter 1995 couture collection, featuring the designer’s trademark winged neckline and a feathered fishtail skirt. Adding even more drama to the look, she paired the dress with matching feathered gloves and a dazzling headpiece to finish.

Of course, Jenner is not the only Mugler fan in her family, with sister Kim Kardashian enjoying a close relationship with the designer prior to his passing earlier this year. The star famously wore a custom wet-look Latex gown, dripping with crystals, by the designer at the 2019 Met Gala, as well as wearing a daring cut-out dress from Mugler’s spring/summer 1998 collection earlier that year.

Given the Kardashian-Jenner family’s obsession with vintage, we wouldn’t be surprised if Kylie’s already bookmarked more trophy Mugler pieces to add to her collection following last night’s event. Watch this space.
