Kris Jenner shares 'heartbroken' tribute to Tristan Thompson's 'selfless' mother Andrea who died suddenly of a heart attack: 'a loving, kind and fabulous grandmother'
Kris Jenner shared a 'heartbroken' Instagram tribute on Thursday to Tristan Thompson's late mother Andrea, who died that day after a sudden heart attack.
Tristan had his daughter True, four, and a baby boy born in August with Kris' daughter Khloe Kardashian, meaning Kris and Andrea shared two grandchildren.
'I am so heartbroken by the sudden passing of Tristan's mom, Andrea,' wrote Kris, 67. 'My thoughts, prayers and all of my love are with Tristan, Amari, Dishawn and Daniel.'
Her message came alongside an Instagram album full of throwback pictures of Andrea with Tristan, Khloe and Kris herself.
One group shot showed Kris and Khloe standing beside Tristan and Andrea while Khloe was heavily pregnant with True.
'You were the most amazing, dedicated, devoted, and selfless mom and such a loving, kind, and fabulous grandmother,' Kris wrote.
'What a blessing you were to your family!!! I will miss you Andrea. I will miss your bright spirit and amazing light,' the Kardashian-Jenner matriarch continued.
'Thank you for always praying for us and lifting us up and encouraging us along the way. Rest in peace beautiful angel.'
Khloe and Tristan had an on-off rollercoaster relationship from 2017 until 2021, repeatedly buffeted by his serial infidelities.
Despite their romantic bust-ups however, they have remained collaborative co-parents to the two small children they welcomed into the world together.
Khloe has also steadfastly remained by Tristan's side in his present personal crisis, and the pair were seen flying private into Toronto just hours after Andrea's death.
Andrea reportedly suffered a sudden heart attack at home in Toronto and was taken to a hospital but could not be saved, according to TMZ.
