Ask Kylie Jenner and ye shall receive — at least when it comes to hair colors. It's been less than a week since the Kylie Cosmetics and Kylie Skin founder revealed an icy-blonde makeover after a long stretch with a warm bronde shade. But when a fan edited a new photo to give Jenner pink hair, it seemed the reality-show star couldn't resist turning the Photoshopped look into a reality.
On Saturday, June 27, Jenner posted a photo of herself lounging on a bed with her new nearly platinum hair (or, as is very likely, nearly platinum wig), and within the hour, she shared a fan account's twist on the picture, in which the blonde hair had been edited to look pink. Apparently, the combination of the fan Photoshop and the fact that sister Khloé Kardashian's birthday party decor would be pink was enough to motivative Jenner to make an actual switch to pink hair.
After sharing the the fan art on her Instagram Stories, Jenner followed it up with selfie Boomerangs and a video showing she'd traded in her blonde hair for a cotton-candy hue. The first clip shows her applying a glossy nude lip color, the second shows her posing while someone else's hands appear to be styling her hair, and the third, and the third is just Jenner admiring her new look in the front-facing camera.
All three clips were posted with a filter called Sexy Nude, but while it adds freckles, blush, and lashes, pink hair isn't part of the effect — that's really happening atop Jenner's head. Is it a wig? There's a pretty good chance of that. But that doesn't mean it won't be sticking around for a while. (Her long, bronde hair lasted months.)
This, of course, is nowhere near the first time Jenner has worn pink hair. In fact, she has actually dyed it pastel pink in the past. So perhaps this new look will last for a while after all.
