New product launches can cause quite a stir among the beauty community, especially when they have a Jenner or a Kardashian behind them.
Back in February, Kendall Jenner announced that she was finally teaming up with Kylie Cosmetics to collaborate with her sis. It's been a long time coming, despite Kendall being an obvious family member to work with (I mean, she's a supermodel!)
The wait was likely down to her contract with Estée Lauder, but the sisters have certainly made up for lost time, with a stunning 15-shade eyeshadow palette.
First came the packaging reveal, which features a split image of the girls' faces and screams '90s supermodel aesthetic. Next up, the palette shades: a variety of matte and shimmer textures, in colours ranging from muted brown to popping orange.
We loved it, their fans loved it - happy days, right? Wrong, because being a Jenner doesn't guarantee 100% positive feedback.
When the palette was announced on instagram last week, it amassed thousands (and thousands and thousands) of comments, not all of them good...

One follower wrote: "But Kylie nor kendall never wear half of these colors." And another commented: "Love the colours but feel it's not very Kendall, spread the love tho it's cute."
Well, Kylie clearly reads her comments, because she has since taken to her Insta stories to defend the shade selection. How? By using Kendall's face...
She kicked off proceedings with a shot of Kendall wearing a wash of green on her lids, with the caption: "Kendall loves to play with colors on her eyes so we made sure to add her favorites to the palette."

Point taken.
Next up, a shot of Kendall wearing a wash of purple eyeshadow from lid to brow, and along the lower lash line. The look was finished with a fierce cat eye flick and plenty of mascara, alongside the caption: "Purple bae 💜💜."

Fiery orange was next on the agenda, with Kylie clearly running out of caption inspiration: "Orange 🧡🧡🧡."

And last but by no means least, the experimental graphic liner in green, with a dash along the lower lid, inner corner and just under the brow.

As you can see Kylie literally ran out of caption ideas by this point, which is fine, because sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words.
Or in this case, maybe just two?
