Kylie Jenner opted not to open some Los Angeles nightclub just for her and her friends to celebrate the launch of her Kylie Cosmetics collab with her sister Kendall Jenner. Instead, Kylie commissioned the Kardashian's go-to party planner Mindy Weiss to transform her basement into the ultimate launch party venue. Kylie showed off the results of the home makeover on her Instagram Story last night, ahead of the launch event today. Jenner had a bar set up, her home theatre decked out with Kendall and Kylie merch, and plenty of photos of the two sisters plastered around.

Kylie's daughter Stormi Webster even modeled the giant popcorn container that was made for the party with Kendall and Kylie's photos on it. There were also ample personalized desserts and Kendall and Kylie masks. Stormi tried on a Kendall one.

Kylie spoke about her friendship with Kendall earlier this year for Harper's Bazaar's March issue. "Everyone had their own partner,” Kylie said of the Kardashian-Jenner family period. “Kourtney had Kim. Khloé had Rob. Kendall and I were so close in age. We had a close bond, but we are definitely polar opposites. But it works out. We don’t ever cross. She does her thing and I do mine, then we come together and have a great time.”
Kendall seconded Kylie's description: “She likes black; I like white. My room was white and silver and gold, and hers was black, really dark. Kylie had a zebra pattern, and I had leopard.We responded to each other, so we would have our own thing. But we have similarities too; we’re definitely sisters.”
Kendall called Kylie the outgoing one when they were kids. “Kylie loved attention,” she said. “She was obsessed with the Shakira song ‘Hips Don’t Lie,’ and she would go up and put on a belly dancer outfit and come back and perform for everyone. It was like, ‘Hey! Everybody watch Kylie...again!’"
