Former reality TV star Caitlyn Jenner hasn’t wasted any time promoting her newly minted campaign for governor of the Golden State, stepping out in Malibu in a “Caitlyn for California” hat.
The Olympic gold medalist, now 71, who had a dog with her, was spotted pumping gas and waving to people as she showed off the new campaign merchandise, even stopping to chat with a homeless man.
It’s unclear if she gave him the $5 in her hand.
Jenner also promoted her campaign merch on Instagram, encouraging supporters to purchase “Caitlyn for California” mugs.
The appearance came as news broke that the Kardashians won’t be campaigning for Jenner, due to political differences and lingering fallout from her divorce from Kris Jenner.
Jenner also took to Twitter to smooth things over with “The View” co-host Joy Behar, who accidentally misgendered her on the show.
“California has bigger issues than pronouns,” Jenner tweeted.
