Kylie Jenner’s mind-boggling bank balance is no secret. Thanks to her Kylie Cosmetics empire, which she started in 2015 with three sell-out Lip Kits, the youngest of the Kardashian-Jenner clan has become a titan of the beauty industry. In March 2019 she was declared the youngest self-made billionaire ever. So it‘s perhaps no surprise that she’s a dab hand at doing her own glam when she has to.
In her latest Instagram post, the 22-year-old proved that – even without her usually omnipresent glam squad at hand – Kylie can magic up a quarantine makeup look too good not to share with her millions of followers. Using her own ranges (obviously), she gave herself a flushed pink glow, adding a sleek feline flick courtesy of her Kyliner Liquid Liner pen.
“I’m pretty good at this make-up thing,” Kylie wrote as a caption. Something of an understatement. In addition to her pretty make-up look, Kylie’s selfies gave her followers a glimpse of the latest addition to her impressive collection of vintage Jean Paul Gaultier. The dress she has on in the pictures is from the designer’s 1995 Mad Max Op Art collection, and she added another major archive purchase as a finishing touch: vintage Chanel insignia hoops.
While similar vintage fashion gems might be hard to come by, Kylie’s simple beauty look is an easy one to emulate in time for your next stay-at-home social engagement. You never know — you might even have your own billion dollar idea while wearing it.
