Kylie Jenner Showed Fans How Her Natural Lashes Compare to Falsies — See the Photos - Allure Magazine

Kylie Jenner just added false eyelashes to her sailor-themed summer makeup collection, and now, she's giving fans a glimpse of how they look in real life. On Saturday, August 29, the Kylie Cosmetics founder posted a video to her Instagram Stories in which she demonstrates how her lashes look naturally without anything on — and then with the falsies on top. We're suckers for a side-by-side comparison that shows how a product works, so we really appreciated Jenner doing this.

While the before-and-after isn't overly dramatic, there's no denying that her lashes do look visibly thicker and fluffier with the false lashes on (that is the effect they're supposed to have, after all). In a previous Instagram Story in which she first debuted the "Shady" lashes, Jenner spoke about how she was inspired to create falsies when she removed her eyelash extensions shortly after the pandemic hit and getting them touched up was no longer an option.

"I've been experimenting a lot with strips again and individuals, and these are everything," she said.

From what we can tell in Jenner's Story, the sailor-themed lashes are full and fluffy, yet still natural-looking enough if you prefer a lighter look. Additionally, they're longer and fan out at the outer corners, which gives the eyes a gorgeous cat-eye effect without any winged liner needed.

Of course, we love to see the makeup mogul showcasing how her products actually work, as it gives customers an idea of what kind of results they should expect After getting a glimpse of these lashes on Jenner, we're definitely going to have to pick up a pair when they launch on August 31.
