Can you believe it’s already been nearly a year since Travis Scott and Kylie Jenner split? The pair had dated for about two and a half years before news broke in October 2019 that they had broken up a few weeks earlier.

In the months since their split, neither of them has shown any sign of a possible reconciliation, shifting their focus instead to their 2-year-old daughter Stormi Webster. But while they appear to be moving on, a recent interview suggests that Travis Scott isn’t totally over the Kylie Cosmetics mogul just yet.

A quick timeline of Travis Scott’s relationship with Kylie Jenner

Travis Scott began dating Jenner after they met up at Coachella in April 2017. The makeup mogul told GQ that she was so into Scott after the festival that she decided to abandon her life in California and went on a months-long tour with him.

“I really jumped on the bus,” she explained. “And then we rode off into the sunset. I did the whole tour with him.”

Soon, she became pregnant and went on to give birth to their daughter on Feb. 1, 2018. Jenner announced the news three days later after keeping her entire pregnancy a secret.

Their relationship continued until late 2019 when multiple outlets confirmed that they had broken up. Sources told People and Us Weekly that the split was fueled by their conflicting lifestyles and Travis Scott’s alleged failure to really commit to Jenner.

Travis Scott’s latest interview suggests that he might still have a soft spot for Kylie Jenner

After months of keeping a low-profile, the ASTROWORLD rapper opened up about his life, career, and more in an interview with GQ that was published on Aug. 18.

Travis Scott, whose real name is Jacques Webster, refused to talk about their relationship, but writer Gerrick Kennedy noted that the rapper still held on to items from their romance. In one room where the interview was conducted, Travis Scott had a photo out in the open of him and Jenner “locked in a shirtless embrace,” according to Kennedy.

Travis Scott in general has not said much about their romance or split, but he told XXL in December 2019 that he still had feelings for Jenner. “I love [Stormi’s] mommy and I always will,” he said, adding, “The hard part about relationships is just trying to be in one without a million outside voices interfering.”

Will Travis Scott and Kylie Jenner reconcile?

The chances of them reconciling are unclear at the time of this writing. While sources initially said it was a possibility, it seems less and less likely as time continues to pass.

Neither Travis Scott nor Jenner has broached the topic, but regardless of what happens, they have both shown a commitment to raising their daughter together. In the months since their split, they have often been seen hanging out with and without their daughter, including at several points during the coronavirus (COVID-19) quarantine.

Jenner opened up about their relationship in a February interview with Harper’s Bazaar, telling the outlet she still considered her ex her “best friend.”

“We have such a great relationship. We’re like best friends,” she explained. “We both love Stormi and want what’s best for her. We stay connected and coordinated. I think about [my parents] in situations with Stormi, what they would do. They were very hands-on with me, and I want the same for Stormi.”

She shared a similar statement on Twitter after the news of her split from the rapper broke, tweeting, “Travis and I are on great terms and our main focus right now is Stormi. Our friendship and our daughter is priority.”
