As I'm sure you are aware Kim Kardashian recently celebrated her 40th birthday by taking a group of her close friends away to a private island for a surprise break. Again, as I'm sure you're acutely aware, the trip did not go down well on social media, with fans accusing the family of being out of touch. But in and amongst the memes and the mockery some fans have spotted something (else) off about the trip, namely, that it doesn't seem like Kylie Jenner was there.
The youngest Kardashian-Jenner doesn't appear in any of the social media posts on the famous family's profiles, neither has she posted any of her own. Most glaringly, Kylie is absent from Kim's main Instagram post, which shows her with her other siblings, Kourtney, Khloé, Kendall and Rob.
Pictures published by the Daily Mail over the weekend showed Kylie and Stormi getting on a private jet, leading many people to think that Kylie was jetting off for Kim's (then rumoured) 40th birthday island getaway. But two days later, more pictures were published showing Kylie and Stormi arriving back to LA this time with Travis Scott, suggesting that Kylie may have been in Houston with Travis instead of joining her family on Islandgate.

This absence comes a few days after Kylie was noticeably missing from a picture Kim posted of her sisters on her actual birthday last week. The image shows the Kar-Jenner sisters sitting on a fence out in the countryside - presumably in Wyoming at the ranch Kim and Kanye bought back in September 2019. Although Kendall, Khloé, Kim and Kourtney are all in the picture, along with Kris, Corey and two of Kourtney's kids, it didn't take long for fans to spot that Kylie was missing from the idyllic scene.

Meanwhile, Kylie was also not present for Kim's 40th birthday episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. During the special Kim was joined by Kris, Kourtney, Khloé, Kendall, and even Rob and Scott as the family looked back over some of Kim's most memorable moments over the years, but many fans noticed Kylie's absence.
