Motherhood changes a woman’s life. There’s the anticipation of a new bundle of joy and the worry about new responsibilities, the potential for postpartum depression, and the adjustment period. New moms have a lot on their plates and have enough to worry about without the constant eye of the paparazzi. So when a well-known star like one of the Kardashians has a baby, the world wonders how they’ll handle motherhood. Some celebrities prefer to keep their pregnancy private, a move Kylie Jenner made with her pregnancy.

Jenner is more on the private side when it comes to being a mom. With Stormi having just celebrated her 2nd birthday and Jenner only 22, she’s been open about her desire to be a young mom and how her daughter has positively changed her life. So much so she even enjoys changing diapers! She told her sister Kim Kardashian in an interview they did together that “it’s really satisfying. To make her clean again.” She admits to the hard times, like not sleeping as much, being sad to leave her daughter when she has to go somewhere, and the general ups and downs that come with motherhood. But she also enjoys the experience and learning more about herself and what she’s capable of.
One thing she’s better at? Prioritizing her time. She has found she values her time more and balances being a mom and mogul by allowing Stormi to be with her whenever possible, even during work. She added a playroom and nursery to her Kylie Cosmetics office and says Stormi joins her there often. Her mom, Kris Jenner, says that Jenner impresses her because everything she does is with Stormi in mind.
Don’t expect Jenner to be less sexy because she’s a mom now, though. When she did a photoshoot with Playboy, she expressed, “You can still be sexy and be a badass mom.” Even with this statement, though, she’s also been spending less time focusing on herself as she did before, opting for the more comfortable, softer look of motherhood, cutting her makeup routine down to only 10 minutes from her former 30 minutes.

Stormi was born on February 1, 2018, to Jenner and her then-boyfriend Travis Scott. While Stormi’s parents aren’t together any longer, they remain friends and often spend time as a family together. With Stormi also spending time with Jenner at work, she’s getting a taste of the family business. She even has a makeup collaboration with her mom named — obviously — Stormi. One day, if Jenner has her way, it’ll all be Stormi’s.
Stormi won’t be raised entirely in the spotlight, either. She kept her pregnancy under wraps for a long time to keep her special moment private. According to People, Jenner felt that her baby could feel all the stress and every emotion she did, so it was important to stay as positive and healthy as she could. She even shared that she has a desire to leave fame behind the older she gets, and being a mom has pushed her even more in this direction. It sounds like Stormi might be able to live a somewhat normal life after all, especially if her mom and dad have anything to say about it.

Jenner is as hard-working as her Kardashian siblings, with her own beauty line, among other endeavors. She’s the youngest self-made billionaire, outranking Mark Zuckerburg. She’s a CEO at only 22 and has been on her own since age 15, at least when it comes to making her own money. Yes, she was born into a famous family and has appeared on Keeping up with the Kardashians, but that’s not what made her all her money. She’s also been on the cover of Forbes as a top woman billionaire. Self-made or not, she’s killing it in business and motherhood.
Is there another Kardashian baby in the future?
When the Kardashian’s have a baby, it makes the headlines. Jenner recently interviewed with Refinery 29 and was asked about whether baby #2 was in the near future. She “definitely feel[s] pressure to give [Stormi] a sibling, but there’s no plan.” Even with that being said, she “can’t wait to have more babies.”
