Kylie Jenner and Kim Kardashian to Stop Distribution of Their Cosmetics Brands - Allure

If you need to restock your favorite liquid lipstick, eye shadow palette, or contour kits from Kylie Cosmetics or KKW Beauty, you'll unfortunately have to wait. On March 19, the governor of California issued a statewide shelter-in-place order to prevent the spread of the novel Coronavirus. As a result, the fulfillment centers that distribute products for Kim Kardashian's and Kylie Jenner's respective cosmetics brands have been closed for the time being.

KKW Beauty posted a statement to Twitter on March 23 to thank customers for their patience and further explain how the site will continue to function. "While our website remains available to accept orders, our fulfillment center cannot guarantee delivery dates at this time," the statement read. "Your order will receive top priority as soon as we can resume shipping."

According to this statement, KKW Beauty has adjusted its return policy so that anyone who placed an order on or after March 16 can cancel their order for a full refund at any time. "The customer service team will be reaching out via email to every customer who purchased on or after March 16 over the coming days," the brand added.

Kylie Cosmetics posted a similar statement to its Twitter on March 23, with the same explanation: California's health orders have temporarily closed its fulfillment center and deliveries cannot be promised at this time. Like KKW Beauty, Kylie Cosmetics has also shifted its return policy to allow cancellations and refunds on all products ordered on or before March 16.

According to Time, California's stay-at-home order will remain in effect indefinitely. "We could not give you a deadline that we could really believe in," California governor Gavin Newsom was quoted saying in a press conference. "This is a dynamic situation."

Jenner and Kardashian are unsure, as are their customers, about when orders will be shipped as usual. According to a representative for both brands, however, products are still available from Ulta, which, as of March 25, is shipping products. Allure has reached out to both brands for further comment and will keep you updated as new information rolls in.
