Since December 2019, a coronavirus that originated in China has spread rapidly around the world, affecting people in places such as Mexico, Italy, and the United States. It’s become so serious that businesses have closed, travel restrictions have been imposed, and many companies have requested that employees work from home.
With no end in sight, many people are becoming increasingly distraught and stressed out — including Travis Scott, apparently. A new report says that he is particularly “concerned” for Kylie Jenner and their daughter, Stormi Webster, amid the outbreak.
Quick notes about the coronavirus outbreak
According to Business Insider, more than 170,000 people around the world have been affected by the coronavirus, with at least 6,700 deaths so far.
In the United States, nearly 4,000 people have tested positive for the disease, including a string of celebrities. Among those affected are Tom Hanks, Idris Elba, and Utah Jazz player Rudy Gobert.
Although many people are on near-lockdowns or in self-imposed quarantines, it is still expected that there will be a rise in cases in the days and weeks to come.
The coronavirus has reportedly worried Travis Scott
A source told HollywoodLife on March 14 that Scott is a big ball of nerves amid the outbreak.
“Of course Travis is concerned about Kylie and Stormi‘s health and wellbeing as schools and libraries are closing in Calabasas because of the Coronavirus,” the insider shared.
“He is constantly with them whenever possible and always checking on them when he can’t be there to make sure they’re staying safe and doing ok,” the source continued.
“He knows Kylie is more than capable of taking care of herself and watching over Stormi when he can’t be there, but as Stormi’s dad it’s only in his nature that he wants to be there at all times to make sure she’s completely protected.”
Luckily for him, Jenner and Stormi appear to be doing just fine. They’ve been staying at the makeup mogul’s luxurious $12 million mansion, doing puzzles and whatnot.
An update on the state of Travis Scott and Kylie Jenner’s relationship
Despite recent reports that Scott and Jenner are secretly back together, a second HollywoodLife source said the pair hasn’t reached that step just yet.
It was reported on Oct. 1, 2019 that Scott and Jenner had split a few “weeks” earlier, with sources citing their conflicting lifestyles and schedules. Despite the breakup, the two remained friends and continued to spend time together as a family.
“Kylie still has a lot of love in her heart for Travis and no matter what happens between them, always will,” a source added to HollywoodLife. The insider also noted, “She and Travis still are figuring things out between them and talk all of the time for Stormi’s sake.”
But for the most part, it appears that they’re focused on remaining safe and healthy amid the coronavirus outbreak.
