When it comes to hair colours, I don't think there's a single one that Kylie Jenner hasn't experimented with. Black, red, green, blue, blonde, purple, you name a colour and she's probably got a wig of it... seriously.

By far the most experimental of her sisters when it comes to hair, it seems there's not a single colour, or cut for that matter that she can't pull off... even if the Internet did turn her into a Shrek meme after that 2015 MTV VMAs look.

Look, Lord Farquaard is a compliment, okay?

Due to her famous family, we've got to see Kylie's hair evolution from those awkward teenage emo years in 2009 (that fringe though), to her dip dye obsession circa 2014 and of course her iconic blue hair, which sister Kim wasn't too happy about Kylie rocking as her bridesmaid.

1 The hair accessory

Little 10-year-old Kylie is just as adorable as the hair clip she's clearly picked herself to accessorise her dark side part.

2 The scene fringe

Just a year later in 2009 and someone's clearly been listening to some Fall Out Boy. With a heavy fringe and matching black eyeliner, Kylie's already carving out her own identity.

3 The side sweep

Just a few months later and Kylie's already in the painful process of growing out her fringe (we've all been there).

4 The girl band quiff

I'm pretty sure we had the exact same braided quiff when we listened to Sound of the Underground on repeat.

5 The basic pony

A 13-year-old Kylie went for her first snatched ponytail at the premier of Christina Aguilera's Burlesque. She has definitely learnt to perfect this style over the years.

6 The grungy dip dye

Up until this point, Kylie has kept her signature raven locks, but in 2012 she began to experiment with a slightly shader of brown and pink dip dyed ends.

7 The signature Kardashian wave

When we think of the early seasons of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, this is the exact hair style we picture.

8 The return of the scene kid fringe

No, this is not a dark-haired JoJo Siwa, this is a 14-year-old Kylie Jenner at a Forever 21 party.

9 The signature Kylie

Later that same year, despite being only 14 years old, Kylie looks a lot older and a lot more glam in a hairstyle that became her signature.

10 The uni student look

While Kylie has established her signature glam look, she still loves experimenting, like that one time she transformed herself into Georgie who you went to uni with.

11 The doughnut bun look

Remember that time in the '00s when we all became obsessed with hair doughnuts? Yeah Kylie went through that too.

12 The ombre effect

Fast forward to 2013 and Kylie has ditched the hair doughnut in favour of ombre dip dyed ends.

13 The shaggy cut

From dip dyed ends, to a full shaggy fringe, 16-year-old Kylie was all about the experimentation.

14 The big chop

2014 was the year Kylie finally took the plunge and went short with this seriously cool girl style.

15 The blue era

To this day, blue dip dye Kylie remains our favourite Kylie, especially because she refused to dye it back for Kim's wedding day #icon.

16 The return to black

In Kardashian/Jenner terms, Kylie kept the blue for a long time, but in August 2014 she returned back to black. Note to selves: This cut is the perfect length.

17 The sleek look

One year later and Kylie's added length back with extensions and looking a whole lot more grown up with this sleek style.

18 The turquoise era

Ahhh 2015, the year that every single one of us wanted to buy a turquoise wig 110% inspired by Kylie, the most rebellious Kardashian/Jenner.

Or so it was coined at the 2015 MTV VMAs. Just saying, we love this look personally, very Katy Perry.

20 The first time blonde

Kylie first went blonde in 2015 for New York fashion week and proved there really is no hair colour she can't pull off.

Although as is the case with Kylie, it was only a few days before she got bored again and switched up her blonde for green.

22 The first Met Ball look

For her first Met Ball in 2016, Kylie kept it classic with her signature dark black shade, but we're 99.9% sure this bob isn't her real hair.

23 The one inspired by Lucius Malfoy

September 2016 and Kylie is blonde again and is it just us, or does this sleek look kind of remind you of a certain someone from the wizarding world?

24 The wet look

2017 and Kylie is experimenting again, this time with a dark black shaggy wig and a bit of what we can only assume is gel.

25 The Hulk hair

At this point Kylie's hair is like Sleeping Beauty's wedding dress... we just can't keep up.

26 The Donatella request

For her second Met Ball, Kylie went with a super short bob again, but this time blonde as per the request of Donatella Versace herself.

27 The sleek bun

It's not often that Kylie experiments with up dos, which is why we loved her chic bun for the 2018 MTV VMAs.

28 The big purple

For her third and arguably best Met Ball look, Kylie went all out with this purple dress and matching wig.

29 The return of a classic

We love experimental Kylie, but not as much as we love her signature black shade, which she returned to for the 2020 Vanity Fair Oscars party.
