Kendall Jenner Called Out Her Mom Kris Jenner for Posting a Pregnancy Announcement-Like Tweet About Her - ELLE.com

The Kardashian-Jenner family was live tweeting last night's episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, and one of Kris Jenner's tweets seemed to imply her second youngest daughter Kendall Jenner was pregnant when taken out of context. (Kendall was babysitting on the show, so no, she's not expecting.)

Kendall called her mom out for the misleading tweet with the grace and good humor of a woman who knows the entire world will see her response. Kris wrote, “You got this!!! 🍼 @KendallJenner.” Kendall replied, “mom, this looks like a pregnancy announcement! 😂🤦🏻‍♀️”

Kendall has joked before about her status as the only Kardashian-Jenner child without a baby yet. She also spoke about how she is in no rush to start a family during an interview with People during July 2018. “I still have years that I want to spend for myself for a little while, but more power to [Kylie], man, she is built for this, she is an incredible mom,” Kendall said. “There are parts of me that go in and out of [wanting a baby], but I am so okay right now just to live my life. Maybe I’ll have a kid in a couple of years…”

In May 2019, she reiterated that point in an interview with E!: “I go in and out of phases [of having baby fever]. Some days, I'll be there and I'll be like, 'Omg, I think it's happening. I think I have the fever.' Most days, I'm like, 'This is too much.' It's a lot to be able to play with them. I'll just be like, 'go to your mom.'”

In a teaser for Keeping Up With the Kardashians' final season, Kendall, 25, suggested she's more interested now in becoming a mother soon. She said in a clip, via Us Weekly, "I want kids badly. Soon too." But soon isn't now, clearly.

Kendall is currently dating Devin Booker, and their year-long relationship, while still largely private, has become serious enough that Kendall was willing to go Instagram official with him on Valentine's Day.

Entertainment Tonight spoke with a source about why Kendall felt more ready to let the world know she's dating Devin. "Kendall was ready to take her relationship with Devin to a more public level and get rid of any unnecessary speculation in the media," the source explained. "She felt ready to share a bit more than she has in the past when she posted the photo of them on Valentine's Day."

"Their relationship has gotten more serious and Devin is really laid back and not all about fame or being in the spotlight all the time, which Kendall really likes," the source continued. "He makes her feel comfortable and safe and he's super respectful, which are all qualities she loves."
