Kendall Jenner is about to share a part of her life she's never previously spoken about in public.

Momager Kris Jenner released a teaser of a video featuring Kendall speaking to camera on Instagram this weekend. In it, the model says: "When I was 14, I couldn't reach as many people that I can now that I'm 22. Now I have this whole thing behind me, I can speak to so many people and be like, 'I can help you and it's okay'.

"I experience it. I'm very normal. I understand you. I can connect with you," she adds, before a screen flashes up with the words: "Connect with Kendall".

Exactly what it is Kendall is about to reveal, we don't yet know. We'll have to wait until the full video drops tonight (January 6). But on Instagram, mum Kris describes it as the "most raw story".

Kendall is sharing it now, Kris explains, "in order to make a positive impact for so many people" and to "help foster a positive dialogue".

"I’m so proud of my darling Kendall Jenner for being so brave and vulnerable," Kris wrote on Instagram.

Kendall's story is set to be shared in full on Sunday night, which coincides with the Golden Globes. The 76th annual awards ceremony is being held in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, tonight, and Kendall has previously attended, so it may be that her announcement is linked to some kind of Golden Globes initiative.

Last year, female attendees at the Golden Globes all wore black as a symbol of their newly-created Time's Up movement, in response to the Harvey Weinstein scandal that broke just a couple of months before.
