Unless you’ve been hiding under a rock of late, you’ll be aware that last week an unlikely competitor — a picture of an egg — bagged the accolade of most-liked picture on Instagram, knocking Jenner’s baby arrival announcement off top spot.
The internet, unsurprisingly, couldn’t resist turning our new oval overlord into a meme.
On hitting 25 million likes, the egg thanked its fans for their support, adding, “What a time to be alive.” But that was just the start.
