Whether you enjoy them or not, the KarJenner family knows how to stay in the public limelight, even amid a global pandemic. Though she was just a little girl when Keeping Up with the Kardashians first debuted in 2007, Kylie Jenner has made quite the name for herself.

As one of the most-followed celebrities on Instagram, and with a billion-dollar beauty company, the 22-year-old has garnered a following and fanbase even bigger than her older sister, Kim Kardashian West. Since Jenner is such a big celebrity, everything she does is scrutinized. Though she lives her life as she chooses, during times of crisis, some of her choices have made us scratch our heads.

Jenner has been continuously accused of cultural appropriation but that hasn’t stopped her from co-opting styles from Black women and trying to trademark them. Furthermore. in the fall of 2019 during the devastating Australian fires that killed millions of animals, the Kylie Beauty mogul posted a photo of herself rocking fur slippers. Now, amid the chaos of the coronavirus (COVID-19), Jenner just made a major misstep.

The coronavirus is now a pandemic

With the closing of schools in several states, and every major event being canceled and postponed, life as we know it across the globe, is no longer the same. In just a few short weeks, the coronovirus has sprend rapidly around the world.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is saying that coronaviruses are a family of viruses, some of which can infect people and animals, named for the crownlike spikes on their surfaces. The disease first appeared in late 2019 in Wuhan, China.

There is a great deal of incorrect information about coronavirus floating around, but we do know that frequent hand washing, keeping your hands and fingers off of your face and in your mouth, and self-isolating, if you feel ill at all, are some top tips. Unfortunately, Jenner has angered fans by publically disgrading her health and that of the public.

Kylie Jenner sucked her fingers in a public space

Jenner is remaining calm and carrying on with her business as usual. However, a recent photo she posted to her Instagram account has alarmed fans. On March 12, the mother-of-one posted a photo of herself sitting in a chair at her Kylie Cosmetics office in Oxnard, California.

At first glance, Jenner’s post seems innocent. However, when you look closer you will notice that she is sucking her fingers. This wouldn’t be a big deal normally, but with the rapid spread of coronavirus, fans noticed immediately.

Other fans were horrified by Jenner’s black and grey striped outfit, saying that it looked like a prison uniform. We get that Jenner is in her private office, but it may not have been the most responsible pose to share with fans during this time.

Kim Kardashian West is taking every precaution against coronavirus

While Kylie Jenner seems to be taking a laid back approach to coronavirus, her older sister, Kim Kardashian West is obsessed with keeping everything squeaky clean.

Kardashian West invited a doctor to her home to show her Instagram followers how to properly wash their hands. Also, she quickly cleaned a gift Khloé Kardashian purchased for one of her children after hearing the Good American founder cough.
