These days, people are feeling a little on edge now that the coronavirus has spread rapidly around the world, affecting millions.
It’s become so serious that schools and businesses have closed, travel bans have been imposed, and people have been urged to stay inside to stop the spreading of the virus.
While many people have been listening to the CDC’s recommendation of social distancing, it seems like some have yet to embrace the introvert lifestyle.
One of those people being Kendall Jenner.
Jenner’s self-quarantining with friends
While many people are spending their coronavirus quarantine by themselves, Jenner’s been passing her days with a few close pals.
Since her entire family has decided to social distance from each other, the supermodel has called on her friends to keep her company during this outbreak.
On Mar 18, Jenner took to Instagram to post a photo of herself and two friends hanging outside in the backyard, taking in the nighttime breezy.
Though it’s unclear how many people she has joining her during this quarantine, it seems to fans that Jenner is surrounding herself with way too many people.
After Jenner shared her post, fans took to the comments to call her out for being in other’s people’s company while in the middle of a nationwide pandemic.
“That’s not social distancing,” one fan commented.
“Kendall, there’s people that are dying,” another person wrote, referencing Kourtney Kardashian’s infamous clap back.
Some even slammed the supermodel for not following the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s social distancing strategies and putting herself as well as her friends at risk.
“It is disappointing to see celebrities not taking the social distancing seriously,” one follower penned.
The supermodel is better off being around friends than her family
Though some of Jenner’s followers are against her being around other people during this time, it seems like she is safer being around friends than her family at the moment.
Earlier this week, the Kardashian family matriarch Kris Jenner suspected she had contracted coronavirus after recently coming in contact with Universal Music Group CEO Lucian Grainge, who has since tested positive for the virus.
Luckily, the famed momager tested negative, but as a precaution, the entire family is continuing to distance themselves from each other.
Though they’ve never been apart for long periods of time, the COVID-19 pandemic is making the Kar-Jenners stay in isolation, even though they miss being around each other.
“I was organizing my photos in my phone and found this and miss my sisters but we are all social distancing and staying away from each other all separately self quarantine,” Kim Kardashian West captioned an Instagram photo of her and Khloé Kardashian. “It’s hard but we have to do this for our safety and for everyone else’s. PLEASE do not ignore the severity of the warnings to stay inside to stop the spread of this virus. We will all get through this! #TogetherApart,”
Though the SKIMS founder is having a hard time being apart from her sisters, Kylie Jenner is getting through this pandemic just fine.
The makeup mogul recently took to Instagram to reveal that self-isolation is a breezy for her, mainly because she stayed indoors for most of her pregnancy.
She wrote, “I’m on day 8. My pregnancy prepared me for this, I didn’t leave the house for months.”
Though it might not seem like all of the Kardashian-Jenners are practicing social distancing, it appears that they’re getting through this nationwide pandemic in their own ways.
