Kylie Jenner might be more prepared than all of us for the coronavirus quarantine.
The 22-year-old Kylie Cosmetics founder announced she’s isolating herself, noting on her Instagram story, “i’m on day 8. my pregnancy prepared me for this. i didn’t leave the house for months.”
The Surgeon General is likely grateful that Jenner is publicly documenting her quarantine, as he called on her and other social media influencers to inspire others to follow their lead.
“What I really think we need to do [is] get our influencers,” Surgeon General Jerome Adams said on “Good Morning America. “We need to get Kylie Jenner and social media influencers out there, in helping folks understand that look, this is serious, this is absolutely serious. People are dying.”
Jenner gave birth to daughter Stormi Webster in February 2018. The reality TV star didn’t confirm her pregnancy until after she gave birth, announcing her daughter’s arrival in a tweet that was accompanied by a nearly 12-minute-long video documenting her pregnancy.
Jenner’s half-sister, Kim Kardashian, also said she and her sisters are practicing social distancing.
“I was organizing my photos in my phone and found this and miss my sisters but we are all social distancing and staying away from each other all separately self quarantined,” Kim, 39, wrote alongside a throwback photo of her and Kylie.
“It’s hard but we have to do this for our safety and for everyone else’s. PLEASE do not ignore the severity of the warnings to stay inside to stop the spread of this virus. We will all get through this! #TogetherApart”
