Although Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott have confirmed their split, they continue to do things that couples do — so much that it can be hard to tell where they truly stand. Most recently, the pair reportedly reunited and spent Easter together, leaving fans wondering what’s really going on between them.
Amid the speculation, a source spoke to HollywoodLife about the status of their relationship and confirmed that the pair is reportedly still broken up. However, the source noted that they have allegedly considered getting back together and are trying to figure out what’s next.
How Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott spent Easter
In case you missed it, these two reportedly spent the April 12 holiday at Kris Jenner’s home in Palm Springs along with their daughter, Stormi. According to E! News, they spent some time at the pool, played festive games, and more.
“It was raining in Los Angeles and they were hoping for some sunshine. It was a nice change of scenery and they made it special for Stormi,” a source told the outlet. “It was very different from their traditional big family Easter celebrations, but everyone Zoomed and stayed connected,” the insider continued, referring to the other Kar-Jenner family members, who are practicing social distancing amid the coronavirus outbreak.
“Kylie really misses her sisters and her nieces and nephews, but its been nice having Travis around so much,” the insider went on. “He has been at Kylie’s house and they have been doing a lot of family stuff.”
Speaking about their relationship, the source added: “Things are good between Kylie and Travis. They are co-parenting and in a groove. They love being a family together and watching Stormi who constantly amazes them and make them laugh. They love their little family life together.”
But Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott reportedly still aren’t together
Despite earlier reports saying they have reconciled, an insider told HollywoodLife on April 14 that they are still not back together.
“Kylie and Travis are still in the same space they have been in for the last few months. Trying to figure out co-parenting and trying to see if there is anything more there for them both romantically,” the insider explained.
“It is a slippery slope to say the least, and every day provides a different turn in the story. It seems some days they want to be friends and parents and the next day they want to be more. They don’t know really how much they want to take things and are dealing with the process day in and day out,” the source continued.
But one thing is clear: “Kylie and Travis get along great and will always make co-parenting Stormi their number one priority,” the source went on. “Neither one of them has any idea what the future holds in terms of things romantically, but they’re ok with that. They have nothing but respect for each other and will always be in each other’s lives no matter what. They’re both mature enough to handle a respectful co-parenting relationship for Stormi and that’s what is most important. They trust that everything else will fall into place.”
Why Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott broke up
Multiple outlets announced the breakup on Oct. 1, 2019. The news of their split came about two and a half years after Jenner and Scott had started dating.
Neither of them has directly said what caused them to break things off, but sources told People and Us Weekly that it had to due with their conflicting lifestyles and interests.
It’s unclear what the future holds for them but they’ll be close regardless. In a March cover story for Harper’s Bazaar, Jenner admitted that she still views Scott as her best friend while he told XXL in December 2019 that he still loved Jenner and “always” will.
