Caitlyn Jenner Says It's 'Very Tough' to Maintain a Relationship With Her Children: 'They've All Moved On'

Life goes on. Caitlyn Jenner spoke candidly about her relationship — or lack thereof — with her children in a new long-form interview for Broadly.

The 68-year-old I Am Cait star revealed in the feature published on Tuesday, May 22, that although she has six biological children and helped raise four step-children with ex-wife Kris Jenner for more than 24 years, she’s often alone in her Malibu home with just her dog, Bertha.

“I spend a lot of time by myself here in the house. I have a lot of children, but sometimes just because of circumstances, maintaining a close relationship with your kids is very tough,” the former reality star said. “They all have lives. They’ve all moved on.”

She added: “We’re just human beings; we’re going to be here for a very short time. We come and we go and at the end, when it’s all said and done, hopefully your family is going to be there.”

Jenner — who revealed her identity as a transgender woman in April 2015 — also told the outlet her hope for the afterlife, which included a nod to her kids. “I hope when I get up there to the pearly gates, God looks down and says, ‘You did a good damn job, you won the Games, raised wonderful children, and you know, you made a difference in the world. Yeah, come on in.’ That’s the way I want to go.”

The Secrets of My Life author was vocal about her damaged relationship with Kim, Khloe, Kourtney and Rob Kardashian in a 2017 interview with Piers Morgan. “I’ve lost all relationship with them,” she said. “Yes, I don’t talk to any of them anymore.”

The Kardshian-Jenner clan has grown by many family members since the former athlete’s divorce from Kris Jenner in 2015.

Jenner’s youngest daughter, Kylie, welcomed her first child earlier this year, a baby girl named Stormi, with boyfriend Travis Scott. Khloe Kardashian also gave birth to her first child, a baby girl named True, with boyfriend Tristan Thompson in April.

Meanwhile, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are now parents of three children — North, 4, Saint, 2, and a 4-month-old baby girl, Chicago.
