NBA rumors: Sixers' Ben Simmons is dating Kendall Jenner | 'Trust the Process' is 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians'

The Sixers have been busy since being eliminated from the NBA Playoffs by the Boston Celtics.

Center Joel Embiid trolled the Celtics before and after their Game 7 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference Finals.

Head coach Brett Brown received a three-year contract extension, according to ESPN.

GM Bryan Colangelo has been accused of using fake Twitter accounts to malign his own players, in a report by The Ringer.

And then there's this. Rookie point guard Ben Simmons is dating Kendall Jenner, according to Page Six.

An insider familiar with the duo said the romance has been going on "for a few weeks."

Another source told us the pair was spotted this week on a lunch date at the Beverly Hills Hotel. And a third source said that Jenner, 22, and Simmons, 21, were seen last week in Manhattan with a group of friends at the clubby Bowery restaurant Vandal.

Simmons has never been shy about his social life. He reportedly broke up recently with girlfriend Tinashe.

And Jenner is no stranger to NBA stars. She reportedly is rebounding from a relationship with Detroit Pistons forward Blake Griffin.

Jenner is trying to keep up with the Kardashians, who seem to have an affinity for athletes. Jenner's sister Kylie dubbed it the "The Kardashian Curse."

Former Los Angeles Lakers star Lamar Odom was married to Jenner's half-sister Khloe, who recently gave birth to the daughter of Cleveland Cavaliers center Tristan Thompson. At one time, Khloe also dated Houston Rockets guard James Harden and Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Matt Kemp.

Former Atlanta Hawks star Kris Humphries was married to Jenner's half-sister Kim, who once dated former NFL running back Reggie Bush and former NFL wide receiver Miles Austin.

Kendall Jenner seems to have a thing for athletes as well. She reportedly had a previous relationship with Cavaliers guard Jordan Clarkson.

But now, Simmons is the apple of her eye:

"Security measures seemed to have been taken to ensure Kendall and Ben enjoyed their night hassle free," said a witness. "They were smiling the night away with their friends."
