Kylie Jenner Debuts Sky Blue Hair on New Year’s Eve - Allure Magazine

It's been less than two months since a then golden-blonde Kylie Jenner posted a throwback photo of herself as a brunette, claiming she was "almost ready for my dark hair." Clearly, the makeup mogul had a few other hair-color boxes to check off before returning to the dark side, however.

In mid-November, Jenner teased a silvery-platinum bob, going an even lighter shade of blonde than before. And now, it seems she's decided to take advantage of that perfect canvas for fantasy colors, because on Sunday, she took to Instagram to reveal that she'd dyed her hair a vivid shade of sky blue — a stunning way to kick off 2019.

Although all Jenner posted in the caption of the photo was the blue freezing-face emoji, others had plenty to say. The photo has garnered over 100,000 comments, including those from famous hair pros. "She's back," Jen Atkin wrote. Stylist Andrew Fitzsimons posted, "😍OH😍," and Tokyo Stylez posted, "Wow 😍," to which Jenner responded, "told ya." In fact, Tokyo Stylez reposted the photo with the caption, "@kyliejenner I said you should go baby blue next 💙she said I did it last night 🙌🏽 love you sis." Jenner replied with a slew of blue emojis, including the butterfly, snowflake, and whale.

The first peek Jenner gave fans of her new hair color was accompanied by a casual look — a puffy, cream-colored jacket, gray sweatpants, and white sneakers. However, on New Year's Eve, she posted a photo with best friend Jordyn Woods in the back seat of a car, where she's wearing a black halter dress and her hair looks a more slate color due to the lighting.

Knowing her hair history, it wouldn't be surprising if Jenner is no longer a bluenette by the end of the week. Whether she'll finally return to her natural dark brown, only she knows.
