Kylie Jenner Explains How She Changed Stormi's Name at the Last Minute

Kylie Jenner recently sat down for her first-ever YouTube collaboration with beauty guru and Covergirl's first male spokesmodel James Charles on his channel, and discussed more than just makeup. In the relaxed conversational interview, Charles paints a Halloween makeup look onto Jenner while they gossip about Kylie Cosmetics, rumors, fame, and all things baby Stormi — including how her unique name came to be.

Charles first asks Kylie about her and Travis Scott's 8-month old daughter Stormi Webster. "She's just changing every day," the first-time mom replies. "She's really just becoming a little person. She reminds me a lot of Kendall."

Does this mean that she's ready to have more? "I do want to have more," she tells Charles. "But when is the question." She also said that she wants to give Stormi a sister. "Like, I want seven girls and then like maybe I'll consider a boy."

They then moved on to discussing her daughter's one-of-a-kind moniker, which Kylie insists was her idea, not Travis. "It was me! I remember the whole thing but he swears he made her name up," she says.

The beauty mogul continued, "I was just looking on nature names, like weather earth inspired, Storm was on there, but I was like I kind of want an 'ie' like me. So then I did 'Stormie.' It was always Stormie... and then I didn't fully chose her name, I wanted to have like a week of just me and her to see if I wanted to change it."

"When they called me from the birth certificate office and I was finalizing the name. I was like S-t-o-r-m-i...Literally, right then and there I just changed it to an 'i.' And they were like 'Okay.' I hung up the phone and I was like, damn, I guess that's her name!" Kylie reveals.

Jenner also gives a rare behind-the-scenes look at her other "baby," Kylie Cosmetics, and how hands-on she is with her billion-dollar empire.

"I get really excited about things, I work for a very long time, I work really hard on it. I put so much love into everything. And I'm 100% involved in creating the packaging. If I want this little thing spot gloss or I want this metallic material, what kind of cardboard is used...I tell my designer what I want to see on the rendering," she says. "I'm just really involved, so then when I finally show people and they get excited about it, it makes me very excited."
